Elegance Dona Julia.

Is there anybody else that is in the process of either purchasing or has  already bought on this development ?

Since our initial investment over three years ago, we have received little or no information regarding the development but ,we have heard that there have been a number of  on-going major background problems regarding connecting services to the site. This seems to have delayed the development (not the golf course) big time.

We have been in constant touch with both our solicitor and the company Grupo-Sanchez regarding the lack of information and support ( it seems that once they have your money they are not interested) but our emails and phone calls to Grupo-Sanchez are not answered.

We are hoping that we are not the only people trying to deal with this situation and we would welcome contact from others, especially if it is regarding the Elegance Dona Julia development.

I visited the site last week and was able to wander around and even go in my apartment  without being turned away .

The apartments in Phase 1 appear nearly ready . The only things missing were doors for the fitted cupboards in the bedroom and the front door was not fitted . The kitchen units were all in place . There were still workmen beavering away elsewhere in the block.

The pools have been constructed and various pathways laid down .

The major work is the landscaping which has not started . To my inexpert eye there looks about another three months work to complete but I have no information about services .

I played the golf course last January and really enjoyed it . Last week it appeared to be quite busy.

Although it is late , it looked to me that it is more advanced than any ot the other sites up on the hill.

I believe it will be a great location and place to stay . We already have somewhere else and intended Elegance as an investment for resale but now we might try and sell the other apartment and keep Elegance.

I visited the site again last week . The landscaping has been completed . I have received notification from Grupo Sanchez that the first Occupation License has been granted which is good news . However the water and electricity have not yet been connected . As a result the pool is empty .

Grupo Sanchez are pressing for completion but I intend waiting until the services are working ; otherwise how can we check that everything is working and use the apartment .
