How many 1000 euros did they want for that ?

They never offered me that one,

My stance with Aifos is for for any transfer to be considered you shouild not have to pay them a penny
more and the property should be ready for immediate completion.

I am looking to transfer from another development, which ia away behind schedule. Before I even consider this I want to know about this development.

Is it completed, are all license in place. Are people living there.

From the web site there is a number of units still available.

Regards

Hi,

We went to view the Bahia de Golf Development about 1 month ago.

The blocks are bascially finished with the exception of furniture but I am told that Aifos have a programme for this.

The build quality is not a very good standard and the units are in the main small and basic.

None of the units are yet occupied and I belive that the development is awaiting a tourism license! I think this is related to the fact that this is an Apart Hotel Development.

Aifos or their sister company are offering to meet the first two years mortgage in exchange for the letting rights. However if you are expecting to use the aprtment when you wish and during summer/peak times I would be sceptical about your chances.

Regards,

johnyboy

And what would happen if Aifos went  bust as is extremely likely and did not pay that mortgage ?

No guarantees! If Aifos went into liquidation they may well take their sister company too?

Until you sign title deeds to a property no one is protected unless you have a bank guarantee or insurance bond, a matter which Aifos appear to have avoided
