With so many off-plan and part built developments available all along the coast, we can read in the EOS forums about Developers going out of business and lots of people losing their deposits and their dreams of a place in the sun being shattered.
If you are thinking about buying somewhere in Spain at the moment and not got a specific area in mind then i would like to point you in our direction at Riviera del Sol, near Cabopino Beach and halfway between Marbella & Fuengirola. You wont go far wrong with our community, its 4 years old with a great community spirit and a team of owners that are taking a pride in ensuring the investments we have all made are protected as much as possible by good maintenance, good gardens and a well run administration.
As a committee member that has taken responsibility for communications about our community my apartment is not for sale by the way, i'm pleased to report that there are only a few apartments available for sale out of the 60 on the complex and 2 or 3 apartments have changed hands in the past couple of months, so people that come and have a look around are impressed with what they see and want to buy.
Our apartments are mostly 3 large bedroom homes, around 200+ sq mtrs - so they are big apartments most with sea, golf and mountain views, not many apartments offer that. Google our development or ask your estate agent to show you around some apartments that are available. Phase 3 is still being finished and will be run as a seperate community, we are 4 years ahead of them and you will see the difference.
The beaches are only a few minutes away as are local shops and restaurants...all in all we all belive that we have found the best place to live on the Costa del Sol
