Highly Recommended, Picture Framers at Leroy Merlin, La Canada!!

Hi,

Has anyone bought any paddle tennis raquets/balls and if so where can you advise where I get some from. We are beginners and fancy giving it a whirl and want to get some equipment for when we are next out.

We bought ours from Carrefor.  They are like table tennis bats  on steriods but with holes in them.
They were not cheap.- about 35 euros each.  Well that's a lot for a Yorkshireman's perspective.

Only managed to use them twice though so far through. 
as one three other occassions the court was busy. Two instances were Saturdays where the users then drove off directly site afterwards.
A problen that will go away when the gates are completed.

You can find the rules on the internet.  I found the best set of rules from a Canadian site.  If you cannot find them pm me with your email address and I will mail you the rules.

My impression is that this game is best played as doubles. So if you are using the court playing singles and a pair of players approach  looking for a game (it could me me and Lucinda)  do invite them to play doubles  with you.  It's much more fun.

I was over last week and also saw a spanish sounding 4 sum on court, with their cars parked directly next to the court. I must admin to immediately thinking they are were not owners/tenants.
