More Scottish / Spanish connections.  The beautiful town of Wick has similar problems as Competa with regeneration and distance from Inverness and Malaga respectively.   The centre of Competa is revived, and it is now a buzzing town, far from the madding crowd still but with lots of walkers and of course the annual art walk, which is great and fits with out art and the environment. Salvador Dali is my favourite artist and also linked science with art.  There was a beautiful orange grove in the centre of Competa.  It is still there, and the apartments and shopping mall have been innovatively built around it. The construction phase was not without its problem, but as usual the Spanish people found a way. 

The regeneration of Competa started many years ago, and the beautiful village is doing very well.  It was the first village to recognise the Green Destinations accreditation, and as we move forward again to Scotland. we look at the legal matters around Brexit.
