This figure proves what a disaster it was joining the EU.
Germany along with its northern allies is taking slow but total control of the whole of the EU and the relaxed lifestyle of the southern european countries will soon be a thing of the past.
Spain should have stayed independent - just as the Uk has - and would not have suffered such extremes of Boom and Bust and the inevitable hardships that we now see all around Spain

I wouldn't put much weight on these figures. Organisations do tend to publish their own versions of 'Polls'. The fact it's a charity linked to homelessness might be a clue they stand to benifit from these figures.

According to Google, the homeless number in Spain is 30,000 not 3 million! The Euronews website states, "Every day, Spain sinks a little deeper into crisis. And many Spaniards are caught up in the vicious circle with unemployment figures topping 24 percent, rising rent costs and for some, the street. According to the charity Caritas, 30,000 are homeless." Of this total, it is estimated that half of these are of Spanish nationality, and most sleep in homeless centres.
