We're always working really hard to bring you new and exciting features to Eye on Spain. We also make plenty of mistakes so we want to use this blog to keep you up to date with what's new (and what's wrong) with EOS.

Changes to EOS profile pages
Monday, April 5, 2010 @ 5:53 PM

We have often been asked to improve the information we display about our users.

One of the main areas which has often come in for some real criticism is the member profile page.

We are glad to say that we have now improved this considerably.  For each member you can now see their latest forum posts, the communities they follow, their blogs, their rentals and properties for sale and all the new things we're going to be adding over the coming weeks.

To view someone's profile you can click their user name in a post that they've made (this is on the left of any of their forum posts) or create the web address as such:

www.eyeonspain.com/people/username

Just replace "username" with the actual user name you want to view.

These changes are very important for us to take Eye on Spain into a more social direction.  There is much more to come, this is just that we have the set the basics up first.

To view your own profile you will now see a link to it at the top right of the site.  Once in your profile you will also find a link to be able to edit your details.

At the top right of the site you sill also now find a "My account" link.  This is where you can change your email address or password.

Hope you're enjoying the changes we're making.

Hi

There seems to be a problem in your program, the 3 communities listed on my profile are not the 3 communities I follow.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, there seems to be an issue with the & in your user name.

We will take a look at it.

Justin
