Hi Maria, could you please tell me if you have successfully executed an EXPIRED bank guarantee?  How many cases (roughly) do you have such as this and how many have you been successful in?  Are these recent cases and when was your first successful case?  How long does it usually take and what is the procedure?

 I am with the flu at home and have no statistic answers available. Executive procedures for execution of Bank Guarantees ( expiration deadlines are null and void) are being won in the most of the cases, not just out of my knowledge but according to what Procurator of Tribunals are telling us.

Maria how much should I have to pay to have a will drawn up in Spain. UK resident. Thanks. Notary fees are around 40-60 euros. Lawyers fees vary as we have just obligatory minimum fees by our Bar Associations. A reasonable fee would be 120-150 € in my opinion, but it could be even lower and of course much more expensive too.

Hi, please can you explain why a Spanish Bank would underwrite a Bank Guarantee knowing that it wouldn't be legal? say for example there is a completion date on it or no completion date , are Banks looking for escape clauses ?

Banks are private companies as any other and, yes, they can do illegal things.
