Well done, Jodie, you were superb, good luck in the West End.
I thoroughly enjoyed every show.
Jodie lost 8.5 st in 6 months. She is a fitness teacher now.

She was up against stiff competition. With Graham Norton and John Barrowman on the show, it takes some talent to be declared best Nancy!

Was out last night, so had to video the show and results. Was really worried someone would tell me result before I watched, but NO!!. So I went road bowling then watched ( sad on a sunny day in Spain.....I know )
And JODIE WON...............................chose her right at the start...................GO GIRL GO!! One up for a real woman!!

I knew you'd be as chuffed as I was, Karen. I wanted Jodie to win all along too. We'd talked about both of us wanting her to win some time ago, didn't we ?
But .... did you realise she'd lost 11 stone initially then obviously put some back on though she's 8 st lighter than she was not so long ago ?

Did you hear that Cameron Mackintosh Sir ALW partner in producing the stage show didn't want her as he thought she was too big? His reason was that Nancy is supposed to be poor and therefore she'd be think because she couldn't afford to eat properly! Obviously doesn't live in the real world. I've not really followed the show and only realised that it was the same girl that lost all the weight but after hearing those sizist (??) comments I had to support her. So really pleased she won.

Yes, Sonia, I thought Cameron was very ungracious when asked "How do you like your new Nancy ?" He said that "Jodie must be really happy", not that HE WAS !! That was grossly unfair. If he knew from the very start, as he did, that HIS Nancy would not be up TO HIM TO CHOOSE, whyever did he agree to find Nancy on TV ???
