Hi, I bought a villa on the Mazarron Country Club with my girlfriend just over a year ago but we have since split up and now i want to sell it but she doesn't. We both invested our own money into it and got a spanish mortgage to pay for the rest, so both of our names are on the deeds, but the mortgage is in just her name though. She says she can't buy me out and refuses to borrow the money from her new boyfriend (despite him offering to give it to her) and yet she is also refusing to sell the villa too. I would like to know where i stand legally in this situation but i don't know who to ask for advice? Can anyone advise me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do a search for Mariadecastro in the members names or look for one of her posts and PM Maria. She is a very helpful member of the forum who is a lawyer and she may be able to offer you advice.

Best of luck,

Noreen
