Hi cupcake(god,that sounds like a chat up line!)
I am not sure about Murcia but in this area(CB) they have fantastic lakes and rivers to fish from.
I am not a fisherman myself but i have a friend who goes every week.
The Segura river is particulary good and the lakes at Hondon are great for trout.
This info is based on the fact that my friend comes back every week bragging about what he caught, the size of it(fish) and obviously the one's that got away.
I am sure the Murcia region will have the same to offer.

Last time we went up to the finca parc site @lake Camarillas they were fishing there,and the guys said you could get permits to fish in the whole region of Castilla La Mancha,not sure if thats correct or where you would get from,maybe a local town hall :)

A friend of ours belongs to CARP R US and fishes every Monday and Thursday and spends the other days talking about it!!
We live about 15 minutes from Torrevieja............not too far from Murcia ( 20 minutes by car )..........if this is any help, PM me and I can give you his e mail and you can 'chat' with him and he'll give you all the info he can.
