hi there, i am looking to travel to Spain next year in June for 14 days (contiki) but I am also thinking that i would like to spend approx 6-12 months living over there as well (I am from Australia by the way, but I hold a british passport as I was born there).

I know i have a bit of research to do before that stage but i am wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of where is best to live and what the costs range from in a villa. I am 24, so preferable somewhere with a good vibe and other young people and also somewhere i could work, ie bars etc...I am also currently studying the lanugage so I am hoping to be fluent speaking by the time I head over for the long term stay, not so sure how ill be in June, probably a lot of "no entiendo's"! lol
