I am an ex NHS Ambulance EMT with 10 years experience. I currently work for a private ambulance service in the UK. This company is considering locating an ambulance (At least to start with) in the Murcia area of Spain. It will be for UK repatriation and also to attend emergency calls with an English speaking crew. We envisage a membership scheme with a small monthly fee. This is an initial enquiry to see how popular this would be with ex pats. and to see how viable it may be.

Hi Mel
Its a good idea but you would be up against stiff competition from already established companies. The spanish emergency services offer multilingual service on 112, there is also a spanish red cross.
Here is a link to one of the big players, it will let you see what is being offered here.
