problems with my kindle.

I have just switched my kindle on after not using it for a couple of

weeks and the following is happening.

1. over 200 books in my archives have dissappeared.

2. It will not connect to my wifi even though I have put my

internet name and password in.

3. when I press to read a book the circle in the top left hand corner

starts going round as though I am downloading a book then a message comes on to say delete the book into archives then reload from archive to get it back.

do not know what to do.

any help please.

I had a similar problem after I did a search for a book title on my kindle. A round circle appeared on the TLH side of the screen and nothing else. I rebooted with no effect. I then did a reset and the kindle picture appeared on the screen ( as in sleep mode) but with a progress bar across the middel. It took several minutes to complete and when it did I got the normal screen but with no books - some 1165 missing. But then the rotating circle appeared as on yours and I slowly got all my books back  - from the archives presumably. Phew.
