I am looking at geting a new bench top any recommendations?

My husband and I have just purchased a unit on the Costa Del Sol and I am looking at replacing the bench top with a granite one.  We may even replace the kitchen.  Can anyone suggest where to go for a bench top please?

For this type of thing I mostly find my local builders supplies to be useful. Even if they don't have what I want on display, they have catalogues with a large variety of different types, styles and price ranges and will order stuff. They also deliver it straight to my house.

If you don't want to do it yourself, a local builder might be a good place to start. He can probably source materials at prices that are cheaper than anything you can find, and that is going to be his main source of profit so he may actually be quite cheap when it comes to the rest of the work, especially nowadays that most builders are screaming to do any work at all.
