I am thinking seriously of moving to Spain within the next 12 months. I want the Murcia area, or is it mercia? Anyway I would appreciate any input about the best areas. I am retired and I'm 63, still got my teeth lol! Fireowl

I've been visiting the area between Campo Amor (Southern Costa Blanca) and San Javier (murcia) for 8 years and could not recommend it enough. I own two properties in Torre de la Horadada, one of which I'm keeping long-term for my retirement. I rent both out and had had an occupancy of around 75% in thelalst three years. Some people keep coming back.
The are is very popular among Northern Europeans and Spaniards alike, especially theove 50s. My suggestion is that, if possible, you rent for a few weeks -wherever you decide to go- before maiking a final decision.
