Buying Currency for US holiday

On looking through some of the threads re completion of apartments I cannot understand why so many buyers have been able to delay completion indefinitely and not lost their deposit unless Contracts were not signed.

When we completed last year we were informed that if completion did not take place at a certain time we would lose our deposit. 

Hi, Yes, we were told the same thing and even though we queried this with our attorney we were told that we had to complete even though the site was, we later found out, not completed.  We are Phase 3 and we have had our apartment since October and paying mortgage on it and now find out that there are problems onsite which are not being dealt with.  It is a mess and if anyone else has been told the same thing please get in touch with me.
