I need to appraise all PHASE 1 owners on the situation that Stratford Joe put in an earlier posting:-

Some of us have completed and utilising our apartments on Phase 1 for over a year, and it is now NOT unreasonable to push for a community of owners AGM to elect a president, and take control of this ourselves. We are wondering as to the 'reasons' why this may have not been called.

As per Joe's posting the funds are low and if something is not done soon we will be left high and dry with no site maintenance, or paying through the nose for a low quality service.

I don't know about you but I have flushed more than enough of my daughters inheritance already down the preverbial on this place, and now need to maximise it to the full.

This means US putting pressure on Raul Sanchez, the current president, and Condominium services - the current management company of the site.

This will ensure we take control - we will then have access to ALL owners details, and can act as a group. This will be beneficial for imparting information regarding rentals, both long and short term, and drive the prices up by giving the site the qdos it deserves.

Unfortunately myself, Joe and Glen simply cant do this on our own. We urgently need YOUR help to push the issue.

Please don't leave it and think the next owner will be more proactive - that will not get us anywhere - other than causing untold issues on site in Manilva.

Please can you all email  raulasanchez@hotmail.com and 'ljordan@condominium-net.com' and info@condominium-net.com and push this issue as much as possible.

Please PM myself with any replies you have.

PLEASE KEEP THIS THREAD ACTIVE WITH ONLY RELEVANT COMMENTS AND NO HIJACKING PLEASE - FOR PHASE 1 OWNERS THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR INVESTMENT!

Hi Laura B.

No, unfortunately I have had only 1 response, which concerns me greatly.

More people on this site seem interested in that other useless thread going on.

I am wondering if anyone else is actually concerned about the future of that development. I have been actively involved over there and seen the issues around the management / maintenance and owners community - and have also paid over £1000 for the management company so far, so I want to see our money going to the correct services to keep the site clean / attractive and functional.

I cant do this on my own and need pressure from ALL owners so we can force the AGM.

You have to ask yourself 'why' has a meeting not been called ?

Can anyone who has sent or communicated with Condo Services or Raul, please let me know by PM.

Thanks

Nigel

TO ALL OWNERS ON PHASE 1

Nige is spot on here.  Its time to wake up and smell the coffee.  If any of you want to sell on in a year or two then this must be sorted asap.  No potential buyer will want to purchase on a development with such high community rates.

What Nige, Joe and I are now doing is trying to bring all owners together so that we are all singing from the same song sheet.  We are looking at the service we are getting from our current administrators as a community and what it is costing us.  We are also researching alternatives so that we can make comparrisons and have options open when we have our AGM.  We need to elect our own president.  It is not in our best interests to have the developer in the Presedential position.  We can only do this if we have an e mail address for each owner on phase 1.  Then we can put pressure on as a large group.

I can tell you that we are paying through the nose for our community rates and we have no idea where the money is actually going.  We are supposed to get a breakdown of all expenses but no one wants to provide that information.  I want to see what I am paying for and I am sure so does everyone else.

I would strongly urge any owner on phase 1 to reply to either myself, Nigel or Stratford Joe ASAP so that we can include you in our list of owners.

If you know of any other owners on phase 1 then please urge them to also get in contact.  We need to get the majority of owners on side to be in a position to move forward.

I would also ask all posters on this forum who know me to support this with a positive reply.  I think we must create awarness and I feel that with the support of other posters, owners that read this tread will be more likely to get in touch.

Glen

Hi Dan.

Thanks for your support.

I know you have a lot of contacts.  We have now broken the ice with The developer and it looks as if discussions are now being organised so we can hold an AGM and elect a new president.  We really need owners to make contact.  Important decisions need to be made and we want as many owners as possible to be involved.

Thanks for your help.

Glen.

Hi

I had a reply from Raul today following my message to him last week prompted by Nigel. I guess that it is the same reply that others have received and so wont bore with the details. However a response is a response and maybe a start at least. Dont lets allow them to get off the hook now and we must keep applying the pressure to Raul.

As we go into the next summer letting season it would be great to have a positive feeling and also a feeling of being able to do something ourselves rather than relying on people who have let us down time and time again. The quicker that we can get moving the sooner we will be able to say good riddance to them all.

Come on guys join the revolution!

Peter
