Broadband in Spain

Hi everyone, was out looking at phase 1 and 2 of the apartments on Satursay 28th October and they're really lovely.  Valstanne told me to give her a knock in 103 but unfortunately she was't in as I was really looking forward to meeting her and didn't see Art either who was supposed to arriving there Saturday am.  Anyway to cut a long story short Atlas have stepped in to take over our interest in phase 3 from the builders and there has just been a total cock-up, the builders not even knowing if our flat was still reserved and they're trying to sort that out on Monday.  So, assuming the flat is still there and available I'm just wondering what everone does there in the evening, the only worry I have about purchasing is that my kids(aged 10 and 5) will be bored in the evening if all there is to do is eat out or sit with us while we're having a drink or coffee.  Loved the town, loved the apartments and I would love to go ahead, but afraid that my kids will hate me dragging them there for their holidays for the forseeable future (they will be fine during the day with having a pool and the town there) so any info or suggestions anyone would be appreciated.

By the way, had an outstanding meal in San Remo just at the square, peppered steaks and their garlic bread is fantastic!

Hi there,  my grandchildren came out in May , ages 7 & 9 [girls] and they didn,t complain of being bored. I think that a bowling alley has just  opened as you enter the town from the Guardamar end. There is a fair in Guardamar and also crazy golf etc. in the vicinity. I think that more attractions will open as the building continues, you can see how much is going up around Luz. There are more shops and bars opening down that end of town already.It is lighter in the summer months and cooler after 4 so the beach is nicer in the evening ,

   P.S. Been to San Remo ,  , as my grandaughter said   "it,s spot on"

Just got back from Spain and catching up with website - I have no internet in Spain.

Sorry to have missed LeeAbby. You must have come round when I went shopping. I will be there every school holiday, so we will catch up at some time.

I think there is a problem entertaining children in the evenings near to the apartments. We have had problems with some very noisy children running around screaming at 11 pm or midnight because the parents have gone out to a bar and left them. The kids are bored, the residents are inconvenienced and some parents don't seem to care.

The Spanish take their children out with them and they often play in the square or the pedestrian area when they get bored with eating or drinking in bars. I've seen them with balls and skipping ropes, etc. Nobody minds and they are quite safe. A lot of children play on the school yard near the apartments, but it is all simple old fashioned play. I recommend bringing any suitable play things for outdoors. I've got a badminton set, a frisbee and a ball for my grandchildren for when they come out. Any other suggestions gratefully received. Sorry to have missed you too and we also missed Art.  Had a lot of problems with our visit, will tell you if we ever get to meet which I hope we will, but we've now put down our reservation fee for phase 3, so we're on our way!  My friend Linda and her husband Charles have also put down a deposit, they were out with us at the same time, so really looking forward to the apartments being built now!
