I'm not sure about the situation with telephones, ADSL, internet etc

Hi Stewart & Pauline

We were told by our agents that we cannot get a telephone / internet connection until the LFO has been granted. They said it is best to connect initially with Telefonica then shop around for a better deal. I will have a look through our files to see if I can find any of the info we were given.

Telefonica do have a website in English.

P.S. The skys working okay through the communal aerial, however the picture is not as good as it was through our individual aerial. We are told it may improve once the crane's have gone.

Can you confirm what channels (english) you receive from the communal dish.

Did you just plug your tv into the socket in the wall and it worked, or do you have to get someone to install this?

Hi Andy

With the communal dish you only get the Spanish channels. To get the English channels you need to speak to Scott - if you click on the link below on Diane & Joe's posting it gives you all the details, you have to purchase the digi box at 490 euros & then pay either an annual subscription of 180 euros or you can pay monthly, but it is a bit more.

The TV worked straightaway on the Spanish channels once we programmed it in.

Stewart & Pauline - We did have a really clear picture when we were on our individual aerial so we really are hoping that it is the cranes - the worry is that the cranes are in the same position that they were before they took the individual aerial down. I guess if it doesn't improve we'll have to speak to Scott, because we'll all be in a similar position.

We did spend more time outside in the sun than watching TV!!!!!!!!! just in case you think we're all really sad telly addicts!!!
