Sierra Nevada

evening all

as we are now in the final throes of getting our apartment, I just wondered if anyone on resort makes the trip to Sierra Nevada for the snow ? Is it an easy trip and how long does it take ?

we drove from Alicante to Granada and took about 4/5 hours with a stop for lunch, once passed Murcia a straight run. Or the coastal road would take about 31/2 hours.

That's great to know. We've just bought an apartment and my sister is keen to visit so she and her other half can go skiing. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to stay over for a couple of nights near the ski resorts.
