With regards to the EUCC AGM which will be held on Saturday 9^th February 2013 at 10:00 am first call and 10:30 am second call at El Salón de Plenos del Ayuntamiento de San Javier, Plaza de España nº 3, 30370 San Javier, we hereby inform you that the following documents, which we hope are of your interest, are already available in the EUCC Web page:

We have just bought a property on Roda. Is there an owner association?

We are coming out in Feb and are keen to get any information we can regarding best shopping places, restaurants, golfs, etc.

Sadly there is no Owners Association but as an owner at Roda you will be part of both a Community and an Entidad both of which have AGMs and are responsible for different services onsite.

Contact the Administrator giving your apartment or villa details and they should explain more about the set up at Roda inc dates of AGMs etc. as well as fees due on the resort roda@resortalia.com

These are separate from local IBI taxes and Spanish Modulo 210 Rent taxes both of which need to be paid, your lawyer should explain all of this.

Shopping is not my strong point but there are a variety of good local shops and markets around Los Alcazares and Cartagena as well as Murcia as well as big out of town shopping centres catering for all.

Lots to do in the surrounding area but worth doing some research and sites such as www.murciatoday.com and www.clubmurcia.com for golf are good starting points as well as looking back at all threads on here.

 I am certainly not touting for any proxy votes this year for Entidad AGM as I do not see any contentious votes, but am happy to accept them if owners wish to cast a vote.

Owners should all take a good look at the info supplied by Resortalia especially the very long debtors list which contains the names of 2 current board members, one who never attends board meetings, as well as the representative of Roda themselves who have become a major debtor whilst actively marketing rentals on their apartments. A great example to set to us all.

I hope the TV reception to those Roda apartments has been disconnected as proposed at last AGM by Resortalia and Teleast

 On second thoughts, it is important that ALL owners should attempt to find a reprentative attending the Entidad AGM to vote on their behalf.

The Board appears to be proposing reducing the number of representatives, this is because of resignations and attempting to exclude wider representation. Fine if all members were active but 2 never attend meetings and 3 are debtors.

Surely supporting a volunteer prepared to represent the resort would be a good addition to the Board, there is at least one and she should be permitted to join the board NOT excluded.

DO NOT VOTE to reduce numbers

Probably best to send them an email and copy in your Community President, so that your request and complaint is in writing, they should not be missing you out but we have noted a few errors in their email address database
