John and I are going to the VIva Espana Show on Saturday March 17th. We are meeting a couple of others from Santa Ana at 1pm .  If you want more details about the show, see: http://www.vivaespanashows.com/  Advance tickets are £8 or you can get 2 for the price of 1.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming along and meeting up with us.

Sue

Sue,

Unfortunately we will not be in a position to go to this event due to prior engagements, however we will be visiting the Property Investor Show (www.propertyinvestor.co.uk) at the NEC, Birmingham on 23rd-25th March if anyone cannot make the London show and is interested in meeting up.

Regards

Darren

I hope you wont be disappointed but we found it at the time to be only property

We also went to one at York racecourse 6 months later, much the same there too

Hi GAL

We have been to shows before where it has been mainly property and, like you, been disappointed, however we have been to Viva Espana in London for the last couple of years and it has a lot more to offer.  For a start, there is food and wine (that alone can't be bad!), but they also have flamenco dancers, Spanish music, fashion shows and a Spanish Dancing competition, with Brendan Coles from Strictly Come Dancing on the panel.

John and I will be there at 1pm.  If anybody wants to meet up, we will be at stand F84 (Iberica Atlantica) or possibly F82 (Vinbiz Ltd) if we get thirsty!  Obviously these stands are in the Food and Wine section.  John is just over 6', has grey hair and glasses.   I am just over 5', with brown hair (hopefully the grey bits won't be too obvious!) and will be clutching the Jumilla street plan that San José gave us.

If you want to see a not particularly flattering picture of me, please go to: http://www.wellbeingnetwork.co.uk/directory.asp and type in my surname (McGinlay).  Not worth doing unless you plan to meet us!

Sue

Hi Sue

I agree with your comments about the show.  We went last year and enjoyed the entertainment - I especially enjoyed watching the horses, and even got carried away to buy one of the naff CD's from one of the entertainers.  You know the thing - sounds good at the show when your carried away by the atmosphere, but doesn't sound quite the same at home somehow!!!

Anyway, we won't be attending this year, as it clashes with our trip to Spain (a worthwhile swap I think you'll agree!)

I note you live not far away from us (we are in Twickenham) so maybe we'll catch up some other time

Tracey

Hello,

just thought I would let people know that Currencies Direct are giving away FREE tickets to various property exhibitions at the moment. These include: A place in the sun Excel London, amongst others.

Just log on to their web site and move your mouse over the Individuals tab and click on "what we do" the free ticket link pops up.
