Got your email, we'll be up in Riviera del Morcambe at approx 5.30pm - 6.00pm, unfortunately I have a full day beforehand. Also, Rachel is coming to our place first and travelling up with us so there's another hour to wait whilst she recovers from being lost on route !!!!

You have a car equipped with Sat Nav and maps yet you still manage to miss an M6 junction you've taken numerous times. Even when we had a 'get-together' at our house and we picked up people from the hotel, no more than 1 minute away and a straight road....you managed to get lost (ask Auntie Linda and Dave )

John and I will also be fairly close neighbours, as we are in R10, no. 694.  We won't be moving out permanently until John retires in 2009, but I am sure we will be going out for a holiday as soon as our house is completed!  We don't drive but hopefully will find your house for a glass of vino without the benefit of Sat Nav!!!

I am sorry to say that neither of us plays golf!!!  My brother Steve and his son are keen golfers, so I suspect that we will become very popular with them once we move!  If we are still fit, we hope to do some running and walking.  You can wave to us as we run past!

It's good to know that other people will be living there permanently.  We had been on loads of inspection trips until we found Jumilla - we loved the town and the area, plus we liked the look of the azucena and the idea of the whole development, so we were quite certain that we had found the right place to retire to.  I am a complementary therapist, so I am hoping that I will be able to work part-time once we move.  I will of course offer discounts to other owners and/or a glass of wine after their treatment!

As we don't drive either (!) we spent a week in Jumilla to check that we could get around by public transport, and walked out to Santa Ana too.  We do enjoy vino tinto though, so we will have something in common with you from what I have read already.  We went to a wine tasting while we were in Jumilla, which was interesting as everybody else was Spanish, though one of the presenters spoke good English and was able to chat to us about the wines.  We found out that smiling and saying a couple of words in Spanish such as "Salud" helped us integrate and people were very friendly.  We hope that our Spanish will have improved by the time we move, though we also plan to take Spanish lessons in Jumilla.

Thanks for the invite!  Hopefully that makes two customers, as somebody else asked if I do reflexology (I do).

Talking about getting to know our neighbours: John and I are going to the Viva Espana Show in London on March 17th, so if anybody else is going, it would be great to meet up.  I know a few people are going to the London Golf Show too and we hope to go along to meet them, even though we won't go to the actual show as we are not into golf (!).
