I took 34 photos today and I will let them speak for themselves.  I tried to walk round the site and take photos with landmarks that you might recognise.  The wind has disappeared and taken the clouds with it.  So blue skies and very warm again, upwards of 20 today and yesterday.  The almond blossom is out and it looks beautiful.  There were a lot of Spanish in the offices today looking to buy.  All seemed to be driving big and new Mercedes.  I took a photo of the radiator and combi boiler which was on show in the offices.  The make is Roca.  I also asked whether SJ were going to consider putting any other form of heating in now that they would have a gas supply and Nuria said no.  I dont think it was clear in the letter they sent out so just to clarify there will not be an option for Underfloor heating.  I signed for my gas central heating while I was there and the total cost for an Azucena after the dicount was taken off was 3,515.00 Euros.

Well done and thanks yet again.  The central heating sounds a pretty good deal so we're going for it as well.

Great to actually see buildings starting to rise from the holes in the ground.  All everyone needs now is an update on expected completion dates!  Let's hope we don't have to wait too long for SJ to declare their hand.

Thanks for the photos - at last, there are bricks on site, some foundations visible - it looks like we are 'all systems go' - AT LAST!  Seems like a long long time since I signed my pre-contract in 2004.

We will cancel our underfloor heating next week and book the gas system. I was interested in your comments about air-con in another 'thread'. We have booked pre-installation of the ducting so we could add aircon at later stage, but you think this may not be needed if we 'live Spanish', but it'll be there anyway; and we will have ceiling fans too coz I love 'em.

Have received plan of radiator placement - maybe it would be worth moving one from corner in lounge to under main window, and in bedroom 2 to under window, others look OK.  Did you order today as per plan or did you move anything?

We will also move the radiators to go under the windows I think. DAvid was not with me when I was on site on Friday but he will come with me next time we go and we will have a good look and take a tape measure.  We will then know where the best place for them is.

We have just cancelled our electric underfloor heating and ordered the Gas central heating including having the connection for the oven and hob. We are leaving all the radiators in the positions they are in but have ordered an extra radiator for the lounge. If you look at the specification the bottom right hand corner of the lounge where there are 2 windows close to each other, there is a small space of wall that will take a 4 element radiator and that is where we are putting our extra radiator. Basically because we dont want to use the other larger walls which will probably have a cabinet or t.v. against them and Pilar at S.J. told me that the architect said the radiators will NOT go under the windows. Perhaps because they are a bit  too high and the windows cannot then open inwards. I dont know the height of the radiators but when you are on site Linda would you be kind enough to check that point out for us. Thanks.
