Jeb 321 - funny the quiet man cant be quiet can he, ha ha - he has a talent with his writing but is drifting in the safe zone agreeing with the majority - forgive me if i am wrong but thats the impression i get from your posts quiet man.

out of all the drivel here for me the most significant message is to do nothing will be our loss (owners).

What are the choices - if any - could all be pye in the sky or eye - are we all getting carried away.

stop worrying about what we can loose - move on forget polaris and hope an entrepenure if thats how you spell it can turn the place around - we need a boost to get some interested buyers to complete before any further developements will occure. (banks will not allow any more developement untill properties already built are sold)

if i was looking to my first investment here on condado i would run a mile after reading these posts we are so negative. start selling the place for god sake - find the good and promote like crazy.

imagine if Condado was developed further to within 50% of what we were sold on - then paramout kicked in and this was a resort that was well known as as a quality resort close by. will we get there; well if we all continue to be so negetive we definatley will not.

by the way i am 6 foot 7 and 19 stone so dont slag my spelling off. ha ha....

maybe there are some who would like the resort to stay as an urbanisation. i think most would welcome a resort however

Haha, the original 'Quiet Man' was a John Wayne character who had been a boxing champion and my father in law thought it amusing to give me that moniker as I had dabbled as an amatuer in boxing but could never shut up- especially if there's an arguement to be had.

I know I keep bobbing up on here after saying 'so long', old habits die hard and when moving to Portugal and to Crotia recently I didnt expect to have internet access as readily as I did in the end.

Has my opinion mellowed- maybe, I like CdA. Its quite right that the zone shouldn't be left to deteriorate but the deal to open has to be the right one for the resort. I hear the courts were very busy these last few weeks so the cafe would have done a good trade during the day, but from next week until the school holidays begin- what then? (I'd add that that trade wouldnt affect The Clover because very few of those users will have bothered to nip into the Clover after their game- too far away) I'd bet my last dollar that neither the Banks or PW will leave the sports zone unused if Paramount becomes a reality and we probably have just till the end of the year to know more about that..

But I have made my point on this thread- raising the CC to10 euro's to fund a private venture that would leave them very well off after a sale is a wrong use of the CC and would leave us in a dangerous position of  buying the zone but not owning it and therefore not having any say in what happens to it. It could then be sold away from the resort and into hands that would want to charge us extortiante fee's to use it. 2 euro's has more appeal but I'd want to know more. If no-one thinks a CC raise of 10 euro's is excessive lets do it and use some of that 10 euro's to find the Community buying the zone and put the rest into improvements so ably documented by jeb321.

I reckon Paramount will kick in.  A bit off-thread, but it's all part of the BIG PLAN.  A resort in the middle of nowhere, a brand new airport serving no one, brand new motorways practically empty. They know something we don't.....................my fingers are crossed.

The doing nothing, victor Meldrew Gang are slowly slipping away and being replaced with lets do someting mob.

Can we remove the word Polaris from all conversations. Gone, busted ,dead , They have alot of other resorts to sort out they are still involved with and have washed there hands of us as best they can anyway.

Lets start the improvement, get the presidents to have proposals on the zone and inform us via ML and just see whats what.

10 Euros private seems dead. 2 euros some intrest still can we all own it ?, lets see all possibilities
