I completed on a resale on La Torre during the summer so whilst I can't help you with snagging I can recommend a few other things.
For aircon I was very happy with the service I got on the doorstep in Roldan from Electro Rogales. I bought my aircon, white goods & all lighting & bathroom fittings from them. I felt I got really good advice and reasonable prices from them. English spoken if your Spanish isn't up to the mark also helps.
I bought all my furniture from Matt & Nicky of Spanish Furniture Supplies (website is sf-supplies.com) who are a pretty short drive away in Pilar de la Horidada. I can tell you that I took 5 days in May and looked around at every possible option. Their products are excellent both in the range of things they can offer and the prices which aren't bargain basement but I found very competitive and good value. There were items I planned to get elsewhere but eventually went back to Matt for value for money. I can also recommend them for their delivery, fitting and aftersales. They have done loads of Terrazas properties to date so I am sure others will confirm my recommendation.
