hi to all sgers who are in the uk or anywhere else they may be .just to let you all know we are having some rain at the moment and the forcast for the next few days are the same .so its not all sunshine like we all think we do have some bad weather.....dennis

Yep weather is crap today but at least we know it will be at least 23 degrees plus again in a few days  so throw off the winter blues if you can and come  for weekend or longer.  For those of you coming for Easter remember this is the biggest religious festival of the year here in Spain. Semana Santa means some stores will be closed the entire weekend from 9th to the 13th of April.  This is more then compensated for by the fabulous parades that happen in every city and town in Spain. In the Church in the centre of Cartegena they throw open the great doors on the day of the biggest procession so that visitors can go inside and watch the various societies dress their floats with beautiful flower arrangements.  But don't dimiss Balsicas their parade is as magical if a little smaller.  There's fun too, lots of eating and drinking as there is in all the fiestas. sunny today in blighty been to local pub for sunday lunch and a few beers

in the pub garden but rain expected tomorrow.
