Golf trophy

Thanks Dave for telling me about the mix up at Yorkshire Linen in San Javier. It appears that a shopper (who shall remain nameless, but begins with a D ) spoke to the lady behind the till about their sponsorship of the Sierra Golf Trophy.The lady knew nothing about this and had no idea what it was all about.

So, just for the record, Yorkshire Mill Shops are the sponsors of the trophy, not Yorkshire Linen. Apart from the similarity in the name, there is no connection between the two.

The Trophy will be played for on the 8th May over 18 hole Stableford and it would be nice to have a good turnout .Membership is open to all, so if you are at SG that week, please put your name down for membership and help make it a great day. Tony Balsicas will be delighted to hear from you.I have posted a photo of the Trophy if anyone is interested in looking.

Have just booked a flight out on the 6th May, looking forward to playing in the competion for the trophy. Nice  picture of the trophy, it may be my only chance to see it. (L.O.L.) Look forward to the day.
