weather in October

Hi,

We are thinking of visiting Roda in October half term with the kids to see how things are progressing( slowly!!!!) and to gain some enthusiasum. What is the weather like then is it still warm enough for the beach, pools etc. Are the pools heated on the resort and at the club and will the beach club still be open?

Any advice will be great, don't want the kids to be bored.

October can be fine during the day in Murcia but it starts to cool in the evening which means the pools might not be that warm.  None of the communal pools are heated. ** EDITED - Advertising **.   We are still furnishing it but it will be ready for rent after June.

We were out at Roda at Halloween time with our children last year.  The weather was fine, cool at night but pleasant during the day.(certainly better than back at home)  The pool was too cold to swim in, but we bought bikes for us all and  that certainly passed at lot of time(really enjoyed exploring the area).  A few of the bars had Halloween fancy dress competions on!  A few children were about and this pleased our girls.  ** EDITED - Advertising **.  We have 4 bicycles, 2 adult, 2 childrens.

aRE THE BEACH CLUB POOLS HEATED? WHAT SORT OF TEMPERATURE ARE WE TALKING ABOUT DURING THE DAY? BIKINI WEATHER OR JEANS AND T SHIRT?

Mid October last year was great! We had friends over to stay in our apartment with their two sons and they were all in the pool every day which was about 22 degrees. While they were out my wife and I spent a day on the beach with them and the weather was glorious from 10 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon. We were boating, canoeing, swimming, sun bathing and playing on the beach, and of course being October the beaches were not over crowded.

The weather today is great and March is similar to October; I have been in the pool, the sun has been out all day and we had lunch on the balcony and it was a nice 30 degrees. The Beach Club was closed by the end of September last year, but I do believe this year they are staying open a little longer, but don’t quote me on that one. Of course the weather is a funny old thing, even in Spain there’s no guarantees, we were here August bank holiday 2 years ago and it rained every day......................it was still warm though!!!!
