In response to the previous two "characters" .. you obviously CORRECTLY knew that my second name does begin with a "P" but it is the first letter of the name "Paul" and not "Plank"! Secondly I am not "touting for business" ... my employers already have the contract to conduct the research. I am simply seeking information and so far have had far more positive responses than your own "juvenile" responses. At least i have the courage to reveal my name unlike yourselves. I do not like the way your company "DIS Investigation" is collecting information!

I do not like the way you mr Williams is communicating! very unprofessional and at times almost "immature/childish" for a investigator (to get upset by us being anonymous - that's partly the point with this discussion board)

I assume that you represent the sort of journalism that would like to make a "hot headline story" that shows the "cruelty" of rich businessmen, to make a point where the facts does not necessarily meet your needs for the headline.

Nevertheless, I guess none of us is particularly impressed by Trampolino Groups ability to communicate with their clients. We are all well aware of the situation, we are not stupid!

BUT

We have what we have and we are actively seeking to revitalise the project by having faith in the developer - That is the only way we can act to help ourselves to push this project forward.


The reason this project is halted, in my mind, is NOT due to corruption in the industry - for that Mr. Williams you need to search elsewhere - On Trampolin Hills the situation is more the other way around.

The reason this project is halted is DUE to the fact that both Grupo Trampolin and the Council of Campos Del Rio are desperately seeking a solution to avoid corruption complaint 


So Please Mr Williams, if you would like to "make my day" - and you are serious by this investigation - you may also report that "despite all difficulties this project has met, a large portion of the clients have still faith in the development and would really like this project to get back on track"

What legal authority do you possess to make such claims, these embargoes would be well documented somewhere in a legal journal...please supply your references to back up your alleged claims of embargoes ???

Your point about 'technical' difficulties in the council, could these be :

1. The regional department for public works has YET to re-classify the RURAL land chosen as the site?

2. The Town Hall approved the plans despite it being built on protected green land?

3. The development was not approved by the Murcia regional government?

These are not 'technical difficulties' in the Town Hall. 

This is an arrogant developer deciding that the LAW doesn't apply to him & just going ahead thinking that he is too big for anybody to stop him. 

It may not be corrupt but it is certainly illegal!

I would suggest that both the developer & the council 'got it wrong'!

The developer for building on rural land & the council for giving permission, something it didn't have the power to do. I would have thought that both parties would have known this, which is why I used the word 'arrogant' in my previous post. I think they thought if they got caught they could just pay a fine, but this way of doing business, which was the norm for many years, is unfortunately for them, not acceptable anymore.

I don't know if the re-classification has taken place or what the result is. If it was a positive decision wouldn't we have heard by now?

on the website http://www.trampolingolfresort.com/ some weeks ago, there was this case, as i understood it,  regarding someone that has waited for a release or approval of land in 28 years, that now has got approval by some governmental institutions...or something..

Maybe that case brought presedence to this project so that it is ok to go forward...but what do I know???

And regarding information flowing our way, I do not believe it weather we are informed or if we are not informed, what really matters is that something is actually happening ON the development itself.

I am fairly confident that the reason the project has stopped is to clear the air, solve all allogations and avoid more obstacles..

And again, in my mind,  our best chances is to keep the faith, look for incouraging things that happens

The document mentioned and downloadable from the web site of grupo trampolin is a signed and sealed proof that the land is classified as urban.

Maybe I'm being picky but I notice the date stamped on this document is the 2nd March 2008, but the regional government stopped this development in May 08 & one of the reasons given was that the land is classed as rural. Or am I missing something?

   This is exactly why we have been saying that all has been approved and legally done.
 
  The current problem is the fact that the mayor of Campos Del Rio is not allowed to sign the GO document for this project. The reason for this is that the man sold properties in Trampolin Hills before he became the mayor. This raises conflict of interest questions and by Spanish law he is not allowed to vote for the project for 2 years.

   Those 2 years are now over (in September) and we are hoping that the permit will be signed in October.

You make a good point but it would appear that this issue hasn't been resolved. What is needed is a definitive statement from the regional government staying the exact situation. All that is happening at the moment are comments from people like you & me who are interested but who have no legal standing.if the council is going to agree in September there Isn't much left of the month. Is there a date for the meeting?

I haven't heard if there is a date yet. And I think September is the end-month of the 2 year thing. So probably/hopefully we are talking about somewhere in October.

We have dicussed this before and I think he date that the mayor comes out of his inhability period of two years ar in November (Not September) 

However roumors say september , october, but in my mind we will see end of November

We have, currently, no information of how they have been able to re-start the building now 

But we have been told by reliable sources from this discussion board, that Trampolino Group actually has something going on down there...(Thanks for the latest pictures M8URK)...and that is a giant leap forward for us "poor souls out here in cyberspace" discussing, comforting eachothers and sharing uppers and downers - it is still like a rollercoaster  :-)

Hi everyone,

Firstly im pleased that we hVE MAnaged to loose the DIS appropriate person  who was with us for a couple of days i think.  Its interesting to see what happens when people stick together and show some collaboration that maybe a little strong maybe i should of said solidarity yes thts the one. Ogo thank you for your song again at the moment i am at a lose nothing seems to be jumping to my mind however i did think of  Like a bridge over troubles waters i will ease your mind, but a litlle premature i think.  Anyway I can see clearly now the DIS associates have gone, i can see all obstacles in our way, gone are the dark clouds that had us down its gonna be a bright bright campos del rio day, oh dear thats bad.  Well i know we are all just going over old ground but hey the number of times i:ve been up there i feel the ground owes me something.. We have all trod it long enough, theres light at the end of that tunnel and its getting closer.  As the song goes, Lets stick together come on come on,  lets stick together hey what about bad boy gary  Do you want to be in my gang my gang my gang do you want to be in my gang oh yer.

Hi everyone on Thursday i was with Rafeal and questioned him about the TV reporter that has been looking for information with regards to El Trampolin and Rafeal asked me to invite the reporter to the office for an interview so I PM DIS appropriate (David P Williams) and invited him but as of yet he hasnt contacted me so i now invite you on open forum please take up the offer of an interview their is always 2 sides to a story (hope to hear from you soon) Andy Wild

I spoke to a person responsable for "urbanismo" at the town hall of Campos del Rio on the phone yesterday. He was very confident that the Trampolin Hills project will go through in the town hall within this month of October which should mean that building licences will be granted very soon. I have no doubt building will start inmediately after licences are obtained. The person I spoke to felt that the project is of no inconveniance to anyone and on the contrary will provide money to the municipality,  work and "life" to the community. This news releived me of my worries and that is why I am sharing it with you readers. Buyers and builders should now stand together and put pressure on politicians to end further delays and worries.
