Can Any golfers advise please.

We have guests asking what the score is regarding having a round of golf, They would class themselves as non golfers but play maybe 4 times a year.
How strict is the handicap situation? and if they can get a round in, is there a better time of day to play ?

Appreciate any advise thanks, seem to be having trouble on the roda golf course site the "contact us" does not seem to be working.

hi.
i have a handicap cert but have never been asked for it so far.
i would suggest your guests dress accordingly - ie. collar t shirst etc - and look the part ,  nobody would probably ask them ;-)

Roda's official policy is that men above 26 handicap and women above 34 should play after 2.00pm, having said that I don't believe Roda have asked to see any handicap certificates but they need to know what it is both for insurance purposes and i believe they do try on occasions not to mix up players with very varied handicaps.

At present Roda are offering the twilight rate which is the best value after 5.00 pm but of course it can sometimes get busy then as cheapest price.

It is best if you let Roda know they are coming as they will receive a discount as your guests off the normal rate.

Try emailing golfcourse@rodagolf.com if you have further questions.

As long as they understand golf etiquette and allow players through if holding them up I don't think they should have a problem.

Best of luck
