I have noticed tennis courts at Roda advertised on various websites, and wondered if anyone knows where these will be situated and how many there will be?
I think it would have been a good idea to have had them dotted about the development like the childrens play area, I am sure they could have been built quite cheaply and would have provided more facilities as the development was progressing.

I think on the original plan in 2005 there were 6 tennis courts but now I think this has changed to 3. They are shown on the model of the resort in the main reception area as being next to the hotel. We also wish that they were there now as we are keen tennis players and not golfers. I personally would love to see a lot of courts like at La Manga as this would open up another huge rental market.

Hi All
That’s funny, I went in the office last week and suggested that it would be a good idea to have some tennis courts up and running now, as it would be something else to do at Roda and I was told that they would make enquires but not very likely. Seems nuts to me considering the relative low cost and the fact that they would charge for the courts, hire rackets and sell balls, so wouldn’t take them long to get their money back!!!!!!!!!!

We bought our apartment in Phase IV spring 2006 and at that time there were quite a few tennis courts on the drawings for the hotel area as part of the sports facilities of the Club. Hope this is still the case as having tennis facilities on hand it was a pre-requisite for buying!

Hi all,
I'm across the road in Senoria de Roda. Keen tennis player (don't read that as particularly good though!!) - will be over in the summer 27 July - 17 August and will get withdrawal symptoms if I can't get some games in. Anyone around then who fancies playing please reply or PM me. There is a small club in Los Alcazares that is pay and play that looks perfectly good..
