Make sure you have decent heating as well as air-con. It can be blooming chilly in the winter even on the Costa del Sol!

We escaped - just in time. A big loss on the apatment's  stand in price, but enough to buy a modest semi in a cheap part of the UK.

Are we glad - yes - it is nice to be in a country, which for all its faults, actually functions, more or less OK.

We miss our friends (and the sun) and feel for those who wnat to return to the UK, but are now totally trapped.

Can anyone tell me EXACTLY how to work out the likely Plus Valia due when we sell?

Our Ayuntamiento is Manilva and we have lived in our property for nearly five years.

I know our valor catastral but cannot find accurate information on Manilva's rates for P.V. or, indeed, how to apply them.

Jardines de Manilva - Manilva Gardens - is a well established community and should NOT be confused with the annoyingly similar named Gardens of Manilva Country Club!
