Thanks for your input about Altea Rob. We went there on Friday for the day. It looks a bit rundown for me. The promenade concrete floor needs looking at and there was very little open. I was not impressed to be honest.

Costa Blanca south especially Quesada. Lot's of different nationalaties, lot's of good eateries and not too far from the sea. Not a lot of rain either. Because of the economic situation there are also plenty of properties to choose from too.
