I've just returned from Duquesa and I'm not really very happy to say that the problem of the noisy dogs has not been resolved.  There are three dogs and they reside at apartment 8.25.01. The owners have a large 4 x 4 station wagon registered number EF53 HCD.  The dogs are still resident on the premises.  What exactly has a Denuncia acheived other than to have the effect of hearing the owner of the aformentioned animals shout 'Shut up'  to them in a very loud aggressive voice.  I was disturbed at 2am by the sound of one of them barking.  And no, it's not the dogs on the other side of the valley barking. 

Under Article 46 of the co-existence rules it states that under sub section VII part 10 that it is forbidden To have loose animals in the building.  Can I be enlightened as to why there are residents on the complex who don't seem to have abided by this ruling, or indeed, why they may have been exempt from it.

Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help....  I've just spoken to a friend of mine who has been staying at my apartment for the past six weeks or so, and she's informed me that there are a large number of young people staying in some of the apartments who are working for Bet 365 based in Gibraltar.  Basically, they are behaving as if they are on an '18-30's Holiday', dive bombing the pools, swearing, leaving nub ends and lagar tins/bottles lying around.  Apparently, the life guard is at a loss as to know what to do!!!

Please can someone advise me what to do, who to contact, and how to stop this unwanted behaviour.  In case you are wondering why it's taken her so long to tell me about it, the explanation is that she thought it was simply a bit of holiday spirit in the early days, and didn't want to over exaggerate the issue.  Personally, I find any of the above type of behaviour unacceptable.  I've got friends and family due to visit and I don't want them to be under the impression that they'v e come to some sort of 'Hell Hole'

I am trying to find out how to contact Bet 365 to inform them that I will have their employees ejected from the premises if they don't behave in a more civil manner.  Having said that, I'm not sure if I can do that or not.  Please can anyone help on a point of law???  And would those denuncias be appropriate in situations such as this???  Also, should the security be doing anything about it, or isn't it within their job description???

Hi there

My name is Gaynor and my husband and I have a holiday home in Puerta de la Duquesa near Estepona.  I was wondering if anyone could kindly help us with a query.  I have trawled endlessly through websites for advice on how to obtain a 'fishing licence' for 'offshore fishing only'  We don't want lakes or sea fishing, just from the shoreline.  Some websites say we ned to go to the bank, and some say we need togo to the Town Hall.  We went to both in Manilva and no one knew where we should go, but it definitely wasn't to them.

My husband loves to fish and we don't want to break the law and risk being fined 90euros.

Please could someone give us the corect advice on exactly what we need and where we need to go.  I do believe we will need our NIE number and a copy of his English fishing licence.

Your help is very much appreciated

Hi there

Can anyone tell me what actually happened to the noisy dogs in Block 8, stairway 25.  I've searched through all the threads and find comments from people to say that when they visited last, all was quiet.  But no one has mentioned how the problem got resolved.  And please excuse my lack of knowledge, but what is a denuncia, and how is it applied etc.  We're coming over in September and are looking forward to the peace and quiet.  Did the occupants move out or were the dogs removed by the authorities?  Could someone kindly fill me in.  Also, is there any update on the dog fouling issue.  I have a two yrs old daughter and it is very unpleasant when you're enjoying a nice stroll through the gardens.
