Hi! We have a house in Daya Nueva, hoping to move over permanently as soon as our house in England sells, we are over for 2 weeks on 23rd september, and would love to take the scenic train up to Denia while we are there. Does anyone know of any nice reasonably priced hotels/guest houses in Denia? Any info would be gratefully received!! Thanks in advance,
Gaynor & Gordon

Hi All!
we too had ideas to do an ice cream van round and indeed did have lengthy e mail correspondence with senor whippy, they were very helpful, they had an office in Guardamar, but we never got to meet the owners, as we had to fly back to England swiftly, and decided it probably wasnt for us. Apparantly, you cant just drive around the streets like in England, you need a permit for every place you go, senor whippy kept saying it would be best to have a static site, ie as in a sunday market etc, we didnt really want to tie ourselves down to a permanent place, we had visions of driving wherever the fancy took us, ie round the urbanisations or along the coast maybe. It was a lot of money to fork out up front for no guarantee return, but good luck to everyone who wants to give it go, would be interested to hear how they get on!
Regards

Totally agree! The Casa Blanca is fabulous, its owned by a family who are so friendly and helpful, we have been going there for the last 3 years and although it has got more expensive, the views over the beach are brilliant and all the staff are very good. There is a good choice of menu, from snacks to meat to fish and pizza, something for everyone and the menu comes in several languages, but be warned, the childrens portions are huge! We ordered spaghetti bolognese for our 20 month old grandson and the dish was enormous!!!
Enjoy!
