Perhaps UK would have been a different place if they introduced some form of ID cards there many years ago. Although I went over the the useless bit of A4 green paper, still keep my old Residencia card for ID purposes - much more useful.

Found Seur to be no better or worse than all the others in Spain (don't mention MRW - Amazon's favourite!!). Can only note that that when I've sent parcels to UK via Seur it's worked OK (and cheaper than excess baggage on the budget airlines).

Try Seur couriers. If you order via their website (they have an English version), you can get a quote for various standand size parcels, pay for it via credit card, and they will pick up from your address the next day. DON'T take the parcel to their local office - it will cost considerably more (why, given this is saving them a trip, is one of those Spanish mysteries) - this is a web offer only

I buy camera parts from abroad. Normally these are delivered by courier, and I pay them any import VAT due (they charge a percentage on top for providing this service).

Now a seller from USA has sent them by US Post Office, and they have arrived at Madrid Airport customs, and I've been sent a form giving various options.

Anybody used this form - any hints on best procedure?

Thanks

Up until last week I would have been in with the "positives" regarding Europa - I've been using them for the past 2+ years without problem. Given I'm in an area (Galicia) where satellite dishes are inpracticable, the "free" tv service was useful. However suddenly last week, without warning, the 40 or so TV/radio channels were drastically reduced to 5 plus some obscure worthless channels - no radio. Also the channels were unwatchable due to buffering every minute or so.

Presumably they'll soon be advertising their "improved" service - be warned
