We went down the Credit Card line, with Barclaycard, after sending them copies of all documents (including contract) Barclaycard,(after refunding the amount to our card)decided that THE CONTRACT HAD NOT BEEN BROKEN!!! I am not sure WHO read the contract, lets just say I would not trust them to read my shopping list!! I am now going to chase B/C again,as our Spanish Lawyer Miguel, has kindy agreed to contact B/C,to confirm that the contract was BROKEN,and we have now received a refund of most of our money.Still more work to do though!! Good Luck,Bagpuss.WE FIGHT ON!!!

If I were you,I would start with a new Spainish Lawyer. We were taken to A/A office by our ( impartial !!!) rep from Parador.(A/A are part of the Parador Group). We tried, via A/Advisors last Oct to execute our B/G,firstly,they could not say what they had used our original €625.00,for,but,were at pains to tell us that we MUST pay them another €500.00,as our B/G ran out around the middle of last November. They could not proceed any further until they had received the payment. We have been following the E/O/S blogs, and changed our lawyer (i am srill chasing A/A,they are not of the hook, yet) lezwho has been refured to on this site Miguel Gonzalez. He took on our case in the middle of Nov.08,before the end of Jan 09 we had received our money back.. we did have B/G and the RUBBISH A/A are telling you about,is just that,RUBBISH.Why would a person need to go to court, when the BANK has your money??? On no account would I send original documents. When we went ahead with Miguel,we did all of the work with him via E/M.we had to give him Power of Attoney, which cost us around £80.at a local Notary. Then it was over to the Foreign Office at Milton Keynes, another £80,for the documents to be stamped,we then POSTED them Registered Post,(as Miguel had asked)he, e/m us as soon as the documents arrived(you can track them of course) In due course we did the same with the CONTRACT,again Reg/Post,no problems, and the rest is now HISTORY !!but, please,do not risk anymore of your cash on A/Advisors,they are a bunch of CROOKS,they are also tied up with HUMA) I have NOT HEARD ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT A/ADVISORS.The best of luck to you,I hope you are sucsessful as well.Any other questions please E/M. Kind Regards Bagpuss.

NO MORE SPAIN !! We have at last, after 4years approx, got our First Stage payment of around € 38,000.We did HAVE B/G, and the help of (as far as I am concered anyway) the most BRILLIANT LAWYER IN SPAIN. In uder 8 weeks, and by corsponding by e-mail only, the money went into our Euro Account at NatWest. The Bankers Draft was finally cleared last friday, when we breathed a HUGE sigh of relief.I cannot say how much better the world (not Spain of course)looks this week,at the beginning of Dec 08 we still did not know if trusting, another Spainish Lawyer was going to be yet again, good money after bad (A/Advisors,Paradors choice, just asked for another €500,befor they would consider any action,A/A still cannot explain what our first €625 were used for!!)but,we thought 'nothing ventured etc',and the rest is history,as they say.We are still pinching ourselves, and keeping our fingers crossed, for the pound sterlings demise.I know, that isnt helping any of you,and I really do feel for you,if anyone would like further info on this Lawyer, then please fell free to e/m me,would be very pleased to help. One last thank-you goes to johnfozard, who via E/O/S put us onto MIGUEL GONZALEZ,as I said,he was BRILL!! Kind Regards,Bagpuss

Needless to say we have not paid any more money,to finance Aldea Advisors Christmas Party!! Best regards Bagpuss.

Here's a thought,Huma have offered anyone who transfers to another Huma development. Not only will you get B/Guarantee's,for what has already been paid,But,they will also transfer the original DEPOSIT,via a B/G.My thoughts are,how come all of a sudden you can have a B/G for all the monies that have been paid to them? But try to get the deposit back with stage payments,in court,or direct from the banks or Huma, definatly not, NO REFUND OF DEPOSIT
