My 3 year old Grandson has recently started playgroup and my daughter has to take her turn at volunteering once a month. Last Friday was my daughters first session at the playgroup. She watched the nursery nurse give out cheese on toast for the mid morning snack, and heard my grandson say "thank you Jesus" to the nursery nurse.

My grandson then spoke to the nursery nurse again did not use her name but called her "Jesus".

My daughter was confused to say the least, she then watched the little children put their hands together and start to sing a little song "Thank you, Thank you Jesus".........my daughter burst out laughing when she realised that her son had mistaken the name of Jesus as the nursery nurses name.     Bless him, he is sooooo cute

Though I am still a little confused , however I have copied the following from another forum where somone has loosely translated the vaccination guidelines for Alicante...

New born: Hepatitis B
2 months: Hepatitis B, polio, tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough, Haemophilus influenza type B, meningitis C
4 months: as for 2 months except for Hepatitis B.
6 months: as for 2 months
15 months: triple vaccination - measles, german measles, parotiditis
18 months: polio, tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough, Haemophilus influenza type B
6 years: tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough, triple vaccination - measles, german measles, parotiditis
12 years: 3 doses of Hepatitis B with spacing of 0 - 1 - 6 months.
14 years: tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough

We shall be over for a week on the 5 May and we have an appointment at a school the following Friday, so will save my questions for then.

I am sure I have read somewhere that my 6 year old will need a course of Hep B injections before he can start school in Spain. Can anyone confirm this for me ?

We hope to be over by August and I am sure there is a three month gap between each jab. If that is the case does anyone know if school's will allow the children to start if the Hep B course is not complete?
