Hello all,

As i posted in a prev thread, we are looking to move over in a couple of months, we are buying a UK van and driving down with our stuff,

The aim would then be to advertise it to someone who is moving from spain back to the UK (for whatever reason)

The Van is MOTed for till Sept 10 and taxed, etc

My Question is????!!!!!!!!

Is there any problem selling the vehicle as it would be registered in the UK and selling to someone else who will technically in the UK (once they get back)

This would technically be a normal sale of vehicle and we would return the log book to the DVLA in the UK for a change of address etc.

Would i have any problems with anything, we are looking to sell once we have settled and ive gone over for the car and brought it down on the ferry etc.

Hi there,

I think you misread the post as i am flying over to gib in the morning, seeing some property in alcadesia and then flying out from malaga in the evening,

Although from what ive got from your post is to go from la linea to marbella and then get the non stop bus to the airport? ill be looking to leave la linea at around 2/3pm to be at malaga for 7 (fly out for 8)

We have used them ourselves and they offer good service and not a bad price 70E for 4 days for a diesel Seat Ibiza.

The only gripe was the deposit which took around 3 weeks to be credited back to our bank.

Many thanks for the timetable. how reliable are the buses, do they have a tendancy to not turn up etc as missing the bus will lead me to get a taxi to the airport (pricey!)

Thanks for the info, in regards to the weather, we have checked the route from here to spain and as we will be coming down the west coast of france, over to santander and then head south west toward seville instead of going through madrid. We are looking at a couple of days travel and we both will take it in turns to drive, fingers crossed the snow wont be too bad!!!!!!!

the car issue we have discussed and have had quotes to transfer the car to spanish and it would be around 750E which is worth paying as we take on board what you have said.

In regards to the Working in Gib etc, i have read that NI contributions and tax in spain for healthcare etc are subsidised by your Gibraltar deductions, i have heard there is a form to do this.

IN relation to pensions, by the time both of us are due to retire, state pensions will no doubt be a thing of the past!

We have discussed in detail about the time we are moving and we are happy to take a week or two to relax and get used to our new surroundings!
