Hi Carol

It was really good staying in Phase 1 & 2, it gave us our bearings and a good idea (as we walked up & down every street)  of where shops, cafes, bars etc where in relation to our apartment.  We arrived around 1.00pm on the Sat. so we just dumped the cases went for lunch in San Remo and by the time we left the rain was off (no we didn't sit there all night!! Ha Ha) .  We wandered around for a while and then back to the flat, had a nice meal in the chinese just off the square later that evening.

We will not be moving to Almoradi permanently, just for holidays for the time being - (our children are 15 and 11).

I'll bet you can't wait - it seemed like forever when we signed, last Nov till completeion - it has flown by and now we've only 5 months to go.  I will be over in May for a few days & will hopefully be staying in our own apartment, to get it ready for our main holiday in July.

Maybe you will be back over in May or July and we can meet up prior to your completion, if not I will take pictures for you.

Hi All

Just to let you know how we got on during our mid term visit.  We managed to - apply for NIE, activate bank account, arrange power of attorney and visit the furniture shop (even although Gustavo said it may not be Meubles Bahia, but I felt it was worthwhile to see the shop just incase I wish to upgrade).

We managed to get inside our own flat - it was really exciting.  Took loads pictures and a couple of video clips so we could show our children the flat and the town.  We also got shown the roof solarium - we felt the outside wall could have been slightly higher.

We must have covered every side street our side of the square. Met loads of friendly people in and around the bars. The owners of the Red Dragon were really nice and very informative. Pat & Graham, John & Pearl from Luz 1 &2 are really lovely too.

We told Gustavo that we never get any answers to our emails - he was really surprised, one phone call to his office and we eventually got our Vegaelx client password (which shows internal pictures of the flat).  We were apprehensive about having made such a big decision, but now know we have made the right one.

I may bump into you as I am off on Sat for my midterm inspection, NIE no. etc. I am staying in Luz Phase 1 & 2. So we can give each other moral support.  We have purchased in Phase 3, the same as Tricia.  How will you be there for??  We come home on Thurs evening (27th).

I have been a member for quite a while (10 months) - I've just never posted a message. I am Sharon's ( alias LeeAbby) friend, Linda.  Myself and my husband, Charles have also bought a flat in Phase 3 (Apt No 217) I  think its just above Tricia.

We are going out on the 22nd Sept for our mid term visit (5 nights) so I will take plenty of pictures.  I have been informed by Atlas that the new furniture supplier is Meubles Bahia (have asked Atlas for website info or address so I can take a look before I visit). I am staying in Phase 1 & 2,   so I may bump into you Gill.

If you look on Vegaelx website, select the promotion page, click on Luz de Almoradi and pictures of the new showflat in Phase 3 are at the bottom of the page.
