Hi

We have a reform property, (old stone walls etc). The upper floors need reinforcing. We are aware the local solution to this is to put rebar in the exterior walls and bar mesh on top then pour lightweight concrete on top.

My questions are:

How big is the structural rebar in diameter and what spacing should be used between them.

How thick should the concrete be

Should an expansiion joint be placed between the new floor and the exterior walls

Can the original floor be removed after the newly poured floor is set

Would  be greatful is anybody could help with this

Hi

 

My place is plumbed with 16mm pex al pex with press fit fittings and i want to be able to maintain it myself. I am thinking of buying a manual  press fit tool but do not know whether all tools fit all brands of fitttings etc. If not, is there a better brand or a brand wihich is easy to get fttings for in Spain?

Dsespite searches on the internet I cannot find any plumbers merchants in the Alcala La Real ,north of Grananda region . I need somehwere with a decent range from radiators, boilers, fittings ,flue components etc. Any suggestions welcome.

I was hoping for a vent pipe straight out through the wall if the pellet stove venting was fan assisted, like combis etc in the UK. Thanks for info
