We had a similar problem a couple of years ago. We spent two months in Germany when our grandson was born and when we came back we found an Administrator was appointed by our neighbours.

We consulted our Solicitor and she provided us with a copy of the "Ley de Propiedad Horizontal" in English: unless otherwise provided by Community Statutes, the term of office of all governing bodies will be for one year. This is the same information we read on the book “You & the Law in Spain”, from David Searl. His comments are really very useful!!

We were not very happy with the Administrator for the extra costs, but we recognize he made a good work with the debtors and he is making things easier to our President :)

We're happy with our solicitors for the moment, so we'll keep hiring their services for the fiscal rep. We'll see in the future if we try again to fill the forms by ourselves (Hehe Bill doesn't seem very happy with the idea).

Hi,

We stayed once at Hotel Bahia just in front of the port. And last year we stayed at La Mexicana and we used one of the underground car parks. There are a few in the area.

Hi there!

You can find some information in Englisn at the 'Hacienda' web site ( I think is AEAT or something like that). But the forms are in Spanish. We tried to make the calculations by ourselves but we get in a mess, so we decided to use a solicitor.

We recently received an email from our him informing us that the WEalth Tax was abolished in December and that we have to pay only Income Tax. The deadline is now June.

Fortunately It seem that we're paying less money this year. And our solicitor has also reduced his fees: from 116€ to 70€
