 I always manage to grab a bargain book at La Trocha market near Coin !Its a very busy Sunday market Janet .

And also a lot of bars and Charity Shops here in the Cartama/Coin area have Book corners and they dont usually cost more than a Euro.

 Well would you believe this then !!! Went this morning to our Town Hall in Cartama along with my escritura, padron, residence etc.... and asked for a "permiso de fuego " and they said no you do not need a licence in the "Campo" , but you can only burn Monday to Friday between 9 am and 2 pm - Do not burn on Saturdays or Sundays !!! so there you go surprises every time .

 Thanks Shadow you have confirmed my suspicions - I better away to the Town Hall before I start burning !!! Its true eh if in doubt contact the Town Hall in your area !!

 Hi there everyone,

Does anyone know the rules or rule about burning your garden rubbish in Cartama countryside ? I am presuming i would have to go and ask at the Town Hall ? as many people say many different things ! and I for one do not want to be fined for burning my garden rubbish !

 

Mind you surely there must be a law apertaining to the whole of Spain governing burning your garden waste/Bonfires ?? and where would one find this law - Thanks

 Am so sorry to hear of  your plight .......... just when we thought it was safe ....... Wham more illegal properties being sold 

Please do let us know where you are living as there is bound to be some association there to help you, and maybe some of us can point you in the right way.    

So beware all off you out there there was actually  a guy from Mijas trying to sell an illegal property just outside Cartama only last week, and he was trying to sell it to a Spanish friend of mine, her Husband who is english  would have made the appoinment  ........ bet he wouldnt have bothered if he had known .......... think she told him a few home truths .... hopefully he will come unstuck
