I certainly won't be wasting my time with Linea Directa any more!  I tried to contact them with a quote question via their online email system but didn't even receive a response.  Tried this 3 times but no responses at all.  Eventually managed to speak to an operator who gave me another email address to use but sent 2 emails to that and no responses.

I then phoned to cancel my insurance but never an operator available and twice left a message for them to call me back via their default system - guess what.

What a way to run a business? I will be going elsewhere in future. Not impressed at all with this shabby company - crisis, what crisis?

Kallie: Please read the info in this thread to see what the latest state of play is wrt precription charges for us in Spain. That's as much as we know here at the moment.

Val:  I can't answer  your specific question as I am not qualified to do so. However, the date for submitting last year's Tax Return has passed so if you decide to submit one you will have to pay a small fine for missing the deadline.  You shuld note that this fine increases over time so best to do it asap.

I am a UK Pensioner, living in the Alicante area and have a SIPP card. I was under the impression that if I am a UK Pensioner, living in Spain, the UK reimburses the Spanish authorities for my medical treatment, including prescriptions. If this is the case I should not have to pay anything towards my prescriptions as the Spanish authorities would, in fact, be charging twice.  Am I correct in my understanding.
