Hi Michael..

Hope you don't mind me replying..we are not  actually at Condada..but at Mirador de la Vega in Cox.  I saw your thread...and thought I might be able to help.  We  have a very unusual key to our apt..that our fellow neighbours have warned us is very difficult to have duplicated.

Well our first trip over.. we accidently  came with just the one key..and were very concerned we would lock ourselves out.

But A visit to Carrefour in Spain...and they were able to quite easily make a copy within minutes. . I am not sure where your nearest one is located.  We have one at Elche.. and have also been to the one in Torrevieja. But if you can get to a Carrefour..and they have a key cutting shop at the front..they should be able to help you.

Mirador forum seems to be very quiet... for a very long time...

And... it is just over a week until Christmas...so I am sure everyone is even busier  with so many places to go and things to do.

But I would like to take this opportunity....If anyone is looking in on EOS....To wish You All A very Merry Christmas.....and Best Wishes for the New year.

2009.....Our first proper year as residents in Mirador de la Vega II.  l hope it is a better year than predicted....filled with a  lot less doom and gloom...and especially a betterr exchange rate for the Euro.

So good to hear from you..and to see someone post on the Mirador forum aside from Dil and Myself. We seem to support each other.

I can't help you with the measurements..as like yourselves.. we are in the UK.. and in Limbo between two lives. But I wanted to congratulate your mother on her birthday..

Now if I am correct ...we met her in our apt the first day of June?  Just after we had completed...and shared a celebratory drink.  We were leaving and you were arriving. She is a lovely lady..and by no stretch of the imagination would I ever guess her age. Just amazing.  Please send her our Best wishes..and we hope to meet  her again when we are finally living in Spain. So pleased to hear that things are going well for you both. Keep in touch.

I have had an update on the security system..and entry phones being installed...that I thought I would pass on. 

My neighbour has phoned to say the phone and keypad has been fitted on the wall next to the alarm box in my apt. My understanding is that All the apts are fitted or being completed at the moment.

The main gate..nearest the swimming pool...also has the key pad..and speakers.. A guest  or deliveryman..can ring though from here..and we can press a release button from our keypad to open the gate.

The remaining Gates will see no changes and be opened via the key as normal.
