Hola everyone

I think I might be on the verge of handing over the money and getting the keys to my new property - exciting I know but long over due!!!!!!

However, I thought it might be an idea to get some insurance. Can anyone steer me in the right direction towards reputable insurance companies that will provide insurance on rented Spanish property?

Whilst I am on can anyone help re: the legal licences etc. I should be looking out for before completion. I watched a rather disturbing programme on BBC1 yesterday about individuals who had bought what have turned out to be illegal buildings?

I am due to complete by the end of February (that probably means 2008)! Anyway I have been in contact with a company called P.S.I, via email with Philip Nott. I was wondering if anyone has had experience of using a company called P.S.I. to do a snagging survey? If so please can you let me know your experiences.

I am concerned that I cannot get out to Spain much prior to completion and will have to rely on such a survey when asked to complete, especially if the survey suggests that I should delay completion.

Any help and advicein would be useful.
