non residents tax!!

looking for some opinions on non residents tax. had an e mail off my solicitor in Mojacar to say we have to pay this tax which we knew, He says the bill is for 09-10 and is 622.08 euros which i think sounded a bit steep as we are in one of the 2 bed houses on phase 2. Has anyone else paid this tax yet and how much was it and who did you use to pay it through any feedback will be much appreciated thanks.

I guess maybe for 2 year plus his charges it may be about right. 250 a year is there or there abouts i think.

We`ve paid this twice now on a 3 bed corner house 163 euro each & 25 euro charge from Spanish Tax Forms Ltd 0800 0845 210.

I found them really nice and very straightforward transaction, paperwork arrived very quickly, much cheaper than a solicitor.

We have used Spanish Tax Forms Ltd for the past three years. 1st class service and inexpensive compared with the Spanish legal people. There is only a single charge from them for a house, no matter how many people own it Spanish tend to charge per person €50 - 80 each).

 Once you have your IBI charge, pass on the info to them, this tends to reduce the overall Tax cost considerably.

Thanks for the replys they are very useful, and really helped, i rang my solicitor and told him i will go and see him in June and sort it out in person before i hand any money over. thanks.
