New Cadestral figures

Does anyone have details of the amount of the reduction in the Phase 1 cadestral values for this year

Antonio in block 2 has won his appeal for a reduction in the incorrect Cadestral value and advises that letters have been sent out to those in Phase 1 with details of the reduction.

Has anyone received these letters and if so can they advise how much the reduction is

not seen anything - has anyone else?  Nick

I work in the Town Planning Department in Manilva and we also have a Cadastral office to deal with Malaga and they said that the letters have already been sent. The problem is that they might have already been returned as nobody picked them up.

I spoke to a few owners who came to our office and we tried to calculate the difference in reduction and is about 100 euros/ apartment. Probably not all are the same.

I suggest you speak to AEA and assign a representative to go to Malaga and collect them all and ask for the reduction in the IBI office in Manilva. The 2012 IBI is already issued with the new amount discounted, but you can still claim back the 2011 one.

Good news! So just to check - am I right in understanding that we need the letter from Malaga to take to the IBI office in Manilva - in order to get the discount for 2011 - but this discount already applies for this year - is this right?

Dear All,

It would be more sensible if the office in Malaga sent all the letters to the Manilva office so that owners could collect them there.

If someone is in Spain could they contact Malaga to arrange this ?
